I think people are just afraid that they might find someone they like and then they're not what they expect at all. That's what I'm afraid of. Everyone's always looking for a winner. But in that game someone always loses. Why should I have to compete with Tom Cruise? I'm not the worst looking guy, but seriously my personality makes up for it. I'd rather girls not respond to my emails because they have nothing in common with me than how I look. That's well said.

Don't worry Nate, I've talked to lots and it's not all it's cracked up to be. I find most that I've chatted with don't really have all that much to say.. or worse!~

I can't understand the folks that always have and excuse for not having a photo. If I can invest in the process so can you. Take a photo or two to a public library, cyber cafe, or even a paid office service and have it scanned in and uploaded maybe $5 for whole process. If you get a throw away camera have it printed to disc it might cost you another ten for 24 pictures. If you want a social life you have to invest in the process.
