disagreeing with some...friendship is VERY possible. Some of my best friends are former lovers. There just needs to be a very mature emotional level, which most don't have.

Can you just "be friends" with them? Or is it best to just go away?? Even after you have talked about remaining friends...??? $.02? You should leave that up to her since she's the one with the feelings for you. If you've been honest with her and told her you're not interested in more and she wants to stay friends, then it should be okay.

My VERY best friends in this life are men that were once longterm relationships! I'd be lost w/out them in my life, and there has never been a hidden agenda! I've known 'JK' for goin' on 32 years and he is solid family! That's my pattern at least, they'll be friends until the bitter end ... ... The only 2 exes that I'm not even friends (much less 'best'!) w/ is because of the same reason we parted. They hadn't the integrity necessary to maintain a friendship, much less a partnership~relationship! Lo' is correct ... it is a question of maturity ... That and integrity!
