Many of you do not know what has been going on so here goes.....I don't normally put this personal of imformation out there about myself but my father could use all the good thoughts and prayers he can get.

Last August my father was diagnosed with lung cancer. January 2009 he had 2/3 of his left lung removed and all but 1 lobe of his right removed. He has remained cancer free until about a month or so ago, when the doc noticed the mass in his brain was getting larger. Apparently lung cancer and brain cancer go hand and hand. In most cases they find the brain cancer before the lung cancer.

The petscan from last month has determined that Dad's lung cancer has returned and unfortunately in an area that is impossible to operate on. Because of this he can not get radiation only chemo.

Such a sad state that Medicare only covers so much and has a cap on the amount towards medical coverage. Cancer treatments are so expensive that my parents have gone into so much debt just to keep his meds in stock let alone the cost of the tests and procedures associated with cancer.

My parents have been married for 45 yrs and never have I ever seen the love they have for each other ever fade.
