Yes, good movie and worth the rental. Too bad it wasn't historically accurate though... It sure would have saved a lot of suffering, had things actually gone that way, except for the "master race".

Well actually, I guess it would have saved them suffering as well...

Once I was able to suspend disbelief, I liked the ending...

(((princess))) Yes, hope you've been well.

Sort of hard to talk about a flick without spoiling it for others who haven't seen it yet...ohwell

I guess you're right. Well then, the reason I liked the ending was because Pitt's character was dead on, imo, that the nazis should be indelibly marked for what and who they were...

Imagine how many escaped justice to go on and lead safe and profitable lives by claiming they weren't involved...

I'd just finally finished reading the actual account of WW2 in "The rise and fall of the third Riech", when Inglorious Bastards was released. So that's why I was particularly interested...

I don't think I'd want to read that.. It's hard to handle all of that...

I haven't seen the original, but wasn't it intended to be a spoof type film?

I laughed my azz off the whole way through.

I LOVED this movie. My favorite character was Christoph Waltz as the "Jew Hunter" Hans. The opening scene of the movie was one of my favorite scenes. I love Tarintino's older movies like Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown and I think he is back to form with this one. Pitt's accent killed me every time he opened his mouth. laugh
