Compliments, do you embrace them and become all smiley or do you shy away and feel uncomfortable?
strange u bring this up....till about a yr ago, i used to shy away feel uncomfortable and think people were just being nice.. yes id say thank you.. but really not beleive it.. but for outta kindness only... now i dont know that id say i embrace it lol but do beleive the compliments.. and it does make me happy.. and nooo i dont continue the conversation lol its not all about melaugh

In all honesty I look for the ulterior motive, because in today's world nine chances out of ten there is one behind it, people just aren't that kind anymore, sad but true...interesting question.

I embrace them and say thank you. But I didn't always. I think that over time, as we learn to feel more comfortable and accepting of ourselves (flaws and all) we become more capable of believing positive things said about us. I am generous with compliments too, but I never say anything I don't mean. I trust that others do the same.
