Hmm dang Cherbear, now you got me wondering. I haven't looked at my friends list in a while. I know I've had some guys on there not sure any of them are still around LOL. ![]() I've actually had guys tell me I had guys chasing me all over the place. They apparently made assumptions based on the number of male friends I have. All right who told you I was chasing you? I want names!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() Fine then, I'll just go delete all the guys off my friends list. ![]() |

I was called a slut once because of all of my guy friends....wouldn't a slut imply I was getting some? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I was called a slut once because of all of my guy friends....wouldn't a slut imply I was getting some? ![]() One would think so. But it hasn't worked for me. Of course I'm doubly bad off there since a great many of my female friends are gay. OTOH they are great a picking dates for me ![]() |

If you are in the "friend's zone" with members of the opposite sex, does this mean all or most of that sex would see you only as a friend? (insert disclaimer here) Up until about a year ago, most of my friends have always been of the opposite sex. I don't know if that has to do with how they see me, per se, or just the fact that I've never had much interest in typical "guy stuff" and have always enjoyed hanging out with women more. Now, they just see me as intimidating and complicated, which doesn't really help, either. don't forget inscrutable, jaded, cynical and guarded! ![]() and impossibly selective! ![]() That's a lot to live up to, though. I don't want to make it harder on myself.... |

If you are in the "friend's zone" with members of the opposite sex, does this mean all or most of that sex would see you only as a friend? *edit* does this imply you are undateable? (insert disclaimer here) I've never paid attention really. The couple of local guy friends I have keep an undercurrent of joking about sex on occasion, and one claims he wants me to have his kid, but as far as what an outsider sees, I really never cared, to be honest. The one biker email list I'm on, of close friends and family are always joking about sex, and their wives are helping. We joke about kilts, leather, and as of yesterday, bikinis, Jesus coming, and spitting and swallowing. ![]() ![]() I would hope that the person I was with would understand, and join in the fun and merriment, with as light-heated as it is and is meant to be. |

I have more guy friends, for some reason I can relate better with the opposite sex as opposed to women...not that I don't have women as friends, just majority of my friends are guys, and I'd like to keep it that way!..

I wonder how many people out there actually think "oh they are in the friend's zone, so there must be something wrong with them. People only want them as friends"
