Thanks.... I was wondering what to eat that was not on that stupid doctors list.... if it were up to them I'd be eating all stupid food... with no flavor or salt... I like salt dangit! You made me think of that old commercial about grape nuts I think it was..... "Have you ever eaten a pine tree?.. Many parts are edible".....  About the same type of diet that you have to be on eh?.... |

Hello all, After dealing with some health issues and getting my stuff in order, I'm finally able to bring myself back here to see my friends. on a side note.... Hospital food sucks! Hope to visit with my friends and perhaps make new ones...   I was wondering when you were going to start this Welcome back and hope all is well with you! |

I like salt dangit! use garlic sat or garlic power im not really a fan of salt and i cant stand pepper I knew I liked you a long time ago for a reason.... you're smarter than my stupid doctors! so why is it you are not on my friends list yet? yea i agree many of the doc dont know crap especially with my son he had a doc that we thought was wonderful for yrs and when he was admited in the hospitol we found out he had gasrtitis it wasent his doc that found that it was specialist he was a great doc and right before that we found out he only had one kidney. it wasent his doc that found that. and when we almost lost my son a little over 2yrs ago the lung doc had ask us about his lab work? what lab work his reg doc did non even knowing he only had one kidney.. the specialist that found that out had died several yrs prior. (which was a shame) for we would had switch over to him.. and yea we switch doc (which he happens to be my doc) so yea hes up to date with lab work |

There is a product out there that you can use for flavoring your foods that contains no salt.... It's called Mrs. Dash..... Mind you , you have to look at the ingredients as some of the different seasonings will contain salts... But once you are used to your new diet, you can start to experiment and make your own seasonings... There is lots of info on the net about making them and some I have taken and adapted for my personal taste.... |

How are you? Hadn't seen you in awhile. I always ask the nurses, they know their stuff far beyond any md, also pharmacists are a wealth of info- at least mine are and very helpful. |
