Yes. There are a lot of "yets" still out there if I want to continue to destroy my life. Know what yet means? You're eligible too! I don't want to go any further down than I already have. I like to think I have hit my bottom.

All I have to do is not drink today. Tomorrow isn't even here yet to worry about. When it is here, I know I will be able to make the decision again whether or not to drink. Hopefully I will make the right decision but that doesn't matter until tomorrow becomes today. I know if I don't pick up the first drink, I can't get drunk.

I know that booze is not the answer. My problems will still be there in the morning plus I'll be hungover on top of it all. I just want to have a few drinks for one night and forget everything else if that's possible.

I think you know that a couple or a few will not be enough. Maybe you could do that for just tonight, but where will it lead you? Remember...honesty with yourself is crucial. Don't let your disease f**k with your mind and tell you you can control it. You can't if you are truly an alcoholic.

Please think it through first. It is so easy to get a case of the f**k its and throw everything away. Please remember the horrible times and the consequences. I know it's hard to do when you are romancing the buzz, but I really hope you don't give in. Pray, call another person in the program, get to a meeting and surrender. Just for today. That's all you have to do if you want everything to be alright. Don't worry about tomorrow. Just today.

Anyone ever heard the song called 'One is one too many and a thousand's not enough' ???? It's sung by carol Baker,a Canadian singer.

Greyhound, some of my early Sponsors kept hammering into my head:One is Too Many,And a Million is Not enough.
Most of them are dead now,but not one from Drinking.
Go to a Meeting, call your Sponsor,go and work with another Alcoholic.
Remember;no problem is bad enough, for a Drink not to make it worse.
