its the thought of rejection for most people that want the other person to make the first move...i feel like if i talk to someone and they dont talk back that there must be something wrong with me...i know this logic is faulty but its instilled in my brain...lol...sometimes i just work past my fears and take the leap!

Exactly, or if you're talking to someone and get the distinct impression they'd rather you went away and left them the hell alone, it's just as bad. That's why I'm more careful who I approach now, it's too embarrassing otherwise. |
