While we can choose a great direction....
life sometimes sends the unexpected barreling down the road to knock us off path. I think how we deal with the potholes and curves are just as important if not more so than the direction we take. Because really....where are we going? |

I was born to a scando/irish mix in Australia!!! ...adopted to some REALLY messed up people..  ...had no room for a tumultuous teenagehood...was independent and firing on all cylinders at 15 ....met the father of my four children before 18...had 18 CRAZY years together ...have lived as a quasi sane singl-ish woman for the past 11 years ....had, been had, devoured and been sated by the yang to my yin... learnt, loved, lived, and am still breathing even though I was supposed to be dead by now! who wouldn't be ecstatic with the direction of their life? |

...pleased with the direction that your life has taken? I might be if there was any direction to it. I go forward, back, and sideways with remarkable agility. Plus I veer off for no reason just to see what I can see. Basically I'm direction free, which works for me.

i must get far more done than i have. i have done much, but have much to do yet.
and unbelievably thankful for what i have....as i'm not in a burn ward, i can walk, and see, and i have all working limbs and facilities. |

Honestly, I am a bit dissappointed.
I spent years and a buttload of money to become an alcoholic on which to blame any shortcommings in life....not an alcoholic. (Quit cold turkey after 20 yrs....not even the dt's) My aspirations of becoming a midget pro wrestler had to be dumped in 2nd grade after another unwanted growth spurt. My dream of becoming a billionaire televangelist went down the crapper when I realized I was an aethiestic heathen. I wanted to be Queen Elisabeth's cabana boy.....no dice. I wanted to marry Ellen DeGeneres.....ain't happenin. Thought I was a lock in on America's Got Talent for my freestyle masturbatory skills...(Those hacks fear my greatness) All in all, I should probably be depressed.....then again, when I am naked and look down, I can't help but grin and say...."DAMN! My life is great!" |
