The last 5 nights, well not last night, have had HORRIBLE nightmares and dreams. Just as falling asleep. Once in a great blue moon would have a bad dream but would be a little concious and change the oputcome.
I even was going to put up a dream catcher last night, but simply prayed (do that anyway) but was getting exhausted from lack of sleep..even put the light on the 2nd night after 4 times as falling asleep. Felt being pulled out of my body into a swirling horrible chaotic dark mess. Even prayed during it , could hear myself, clear then warbled and finally as finished The Lords parayer would wake up. Has anyone evr experienced this, esp for days? by the 4th night I was afraid to go to bed.
Tried to think what might be bothering me, but nada than the usual.
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions how to stop this if it continues?
You'll probably laugh but I had to close my bedroom door or I feel like I'm flying and it wakes me up.
When my husband was alive it was just us so we left the bedroom door open. It gets hot here. And with the door open the air flow was better. And sleeping with someone this never bothered me.

Yeap I could fly when the bedroom door is closed this doesn't happen or I don't remember I toss and turn with the door open too. Can't seem to totally fall asleep. But what is also funny I have no problems falling asleep on the couch.

I listen to Disney's songs. Just before I go to bed if I have had night mares the night before. Bring back your childhood. A better time indeed for many of us. flowerforyou

It works for me. Like rebooting the computer. Giving the mind something else to remember. The core of thinking is different when you rest after some good music.
