So. There was a " car bomb " in Times Square.

It didn't go off.

Not only that, but the type of fertilizer used was the wrong kind. It wouldn't have exploded even if the " bomb " HAD gone off.

Yes, it would have burned.

But it would NOT have exploded.

So now, we have some " Pakistani Taliban Bomb Maker " claiming responsibility.

Now..with the plethora of " How to Make A Bomb " stuff out there on the internet...

What does it say for the Taliban that the guy who makes bombs for them can't even make one that works??

Is that supposed to " scare " us??

What about the Fruit of the Loom Bomber back on Christmas Day??

That bomb didn't work either. All it did was give the guy a case of toased nuts.

So....if it were ME that made those bombs...there is no way in HELL I would claim responsibility.

I mean...at this point...the Taliban " bombs " have been more like those cartoon guns that, when the trigger is pulled, have a little flag come out and unfurl with the word " BANG!!! " written on it.

If they are trying to " put the fear of God " into us....they really aren't doing all that well at it.

It's not funny at all. Think back to 9/11 or even to Oklahoma City or even Ft. Hood.

Would would have thought that 19 Muslims could take over planes and kill over 3,000+ people with box cutters. Or that AQ could have recruited and Officer of the US Military to commit a deadly act.

Before, I would believe the underwear deal and the car bomb over the first two.

There is nothing funny about terrorism or attempted terrorism.

That's one of the problems these days.

Too many people live in fear.

Even though the odds of being involved in a terror attack are far longer than those of getting hit by a bus, people are more than willing to hand over some of their freedoms to keep the " terrorists " from getting us.

It's always sad when loss of life occurs.

But the chances of it happening are slim at best.

When we stop FEARING the terrorists...they lose their power.

Unfortunately, our government knows that the best way to control us is to make us be afraid.

So worry everyday of your life, stress yourself into a heart attack, cry, cry, worry , worry . I'm not going to stop living for fear of dying...some things are worse than death.

What IS funny is that these people, the " terrorists " have absolutely NO POWER unless we, as the people of this country, GIVE IT to them.

I choose not to give them power.

Instead, I choose to laugh at their pathetic ( and there really is no other term for the level of ineptitude they have shown ) failures.

No one that I know, nor myself, was " laughing " about 9/11.

We are getting attacked more because they know our Government is soft on terrorism.If our Government is going to treat terrorist like common criminals and send them to places like New york(which hasn't executed anyone in over 60 years)you are going to get more people that do these things as they know the punishment is slight.You have idiots like the ACLU fighting for them day and night.I expect more of these attacks to come and I also expect Obama as usual to keep his head in the sand and to call these people "simply misguided".

Well that is three more than we had under the 8 years of Bush.This is going to grow into a chain reaction.These Muslims in America have just been waiting for the right time to start attacking.We heard about this guy and in a few weeks it will be another guy and another.Then you are going to start getting other nut cases doing things because they hate the government.The Genie is out of the bottle.

And the plotted attack by a cab drivern NYC to blow up the subways or a pipe bomb thrown in a military recruitment office in New York. The list goes on.

NONE of that happened when President Bush put the clamps down, NONE OF THIS.

A couple weeks? Try today! In Penn. they found a possible bomb on the course of a major marathon.

Several countries are saying that an attack is Imminent in India on their nationals by the same people taking credit for this latest attempt in NYC.

a hint,,,put terrorist attacks on US soil, in a search engine(this will mainly bring up successful attempts, I havent even looked at thwarted attempts yet),, and then check the sources and the dates,,,,,,and remember Bush was in office from 2001-2008
