Is there a nice young man (18-20 yrs of age) available to accompany me to my prom this Friday? Only requirement is to dress nicely - dinner and dance paid for. Any suggestions?

Just a thought when my daughter graduated she did not have a date as well as 3 - 4 other girls that she hung out with. I suggested they all go together to the prom and have a blast. So they decided to all do that. One of the girls parents rented a big nice Suburban and played Chauffeur for the girls dressed the part and all.... It was really kewl then after wards her parents threw a party at their house since they had a pool and even served frozen drinks with the okay from all the other parents since the kids were being chaperoned and all were staying at the house...

They had a blast we even had the girls all stop by the park so all the parents could meet up and take pictures prior to the prom......

All the girls said they were really glad that we all pushed for them to go even without a date they said they had more fun then most did for many of the boys went alone as well....

So never think you have to have a date to have a evening to remembernoway

Yeah, it's true, I just found out that I will not have a dear friend accompany me due to family problems on his side - and most of the other guy friends of course have asked others so not free :-(
just thought I'd see here but this is so last minute, and am kind of unsure about the forum too, it's like, OMG, am I seriously resorting to this? :-)

Thanks so much though for the comments and the encouragement; I will be ok, two of my other girl friends are also going solo so we will hang out. Thanks all.

Shshs then meet up with them share a limo and make the best of it what ever ya do...

Back when my daughter graduated I told her she would go to the prom no matter what either solo, with friends, have her brother take her or I would take her myself..... of course she did not want the last one    so her and her friends that were going solo decided to make a night of it...... The way I understand they had an Awesome time and was glad in the end they went solo for several of the guys they thought had dates ended up being solo as well...

Never let going alone discourage you from going........noway
