The "what" is much more important than the where. Make sure you're totally in love with the design before you get it

I recently got a very large tattoo on my arm, but know I will never regret it as it's dedicated to and representative of my family

theres this one site where you can ask what you want, they throw out ideas and different styles and if theres one you like they will go with it.Thats how I got my tats, the new one I asked for is a tribal wolf, the guy let me some of his drawings that he drew and there was one that I liked and now he fixed it up to make it nicer. So heres the next one that im gonna get

oh and id love to hear about any that you might have or are thinking of getting (if you are thinking about getting one think very hard because they are extremely hard sometimes impossible to change or remove)

i'd like to get some on my wrists. is that area hard to do? i don't have any tattoos, at the moment...but they do interest me.

Wrists sometimes don't take the ink as well and need to be re-done or touched up. The problem is that because you use them so much it can disturb the healing process

Oh ok, thank you for the info.

yea the wrists fingers and knuckles are particularly hard to work with especially if you work with your hands covered because the ink tends to seep because of the excess heat and sweat but i have seen some awsome hand tattoos done again it depends on whose doing it and if they have experience in that area

I have 2 tiny tats: one on each wrist...if you follow the line of your thumb to your wrist..right there. On my left wrist I have the word "LOVE" and on my right wrist I have the word "FEAR". I didn't get these for decoration. They're small and place where I will see them when I'm driving. Picture your hands on the steering wheel. They are there to remind me to act out of love and not out fear that that stupid m*****f***** in the BMW is going to cut me off and I'm going to have to follow him home and beat him with my baseball bat!

It's my little attempt to nip my road rage in the butt and be a better person.

excellent choice lol i love deep meaning tats a friend of mine has family down the outside of his left forearm and loyalty on his left i thought it was amazing the effort that was put into them the one tat i always hated was death before dishonour i was very disappointed when i heard he was getting it done for the simple reason that it was a nazi slogan so yea enough said

yeah - can't draw but got the concept of what I want and having my brother and sister, draw out some stuff in order to combine both drawings into one

But immediate next one(s) shall be the Eyes of Horus one on each wrist - just looking for tattooist with precision waving

yea a good tattoo artist is pretty hard to come by now for alot of them its only about the money the tattoo i have up the artist who did it was awsome he did it for the love of tattoos he even did it on credit for me although that doesnt always work out for him coz alot of people got that arrangement and then dodged on him

Finding that to be so true, while there are many gifted artists and tattoo artists, most are fueled by money.

yea above all what i want from the person about to stab me with needles thousands of times is for them to take an interest in the piece although i'll admit mine wasnt cheap my brother got both his arms done (there about twice the size of my arms) and mine still came out more expensive he got his from a friend of the family tho where at the time i was out of graces with the family so i suppose that could explain most of it
