'The ONE' is SO predictable ... remember I said that the Guard troops being sent to the border would NOT be used to prevent ILLEGALS from entering OUR country ... ? Well, DAMN ... ! I was right ... ! Read to the statement at the end of this article: Anybody else notice that the number of ILLEGALS living in the US has seemingly DROPPED (according to their math) from the 30MM they said were in need of 'health control' when 'DeathCare' was in process of bein' borned ... ? I'm pretty sure we haven't lost almost 24MM of 'em this quick. Remember, according to THEIR numbers in this statement, only HALF of the Mexicans are here ILLEGALLY. That's irrelevant. Why bother to even include the ones here LEGALLY ... ?

US troops won't be used to stop illegal immigration: US

May 26 03:50 PM US/Eastern

US National Guard troops being sent to the Mexican border will be used to stem the flow of guns and drugs across the frontier and not to enforce US immigration laws, the State Department said Wednesday.

The clarification came after the Mexican government urged Washington not to use the additional troops to go after illegal immigrants.

President Barack Obama on Tuesday authorized the deployment of up to 1,200 additional troops to border areas but State Department spokesman Philip Crowley told reporters, "It's not about immigration."

He said the move was "fully consistent with our efforts to do our part to stem, you know, violence, to interdict the flow of dangerous people and dangerous goods -- drugs, guns, people."

He said the extra troops would be used to free up civilians engaged in support functions so that law enforcement personnel can be increased along the 2,000-mile-long (3,200 kilometer) border.

Nearly 13 million Mexicans live in the United States, more than half of them illegally.

Militarizing our borders is a touchy subject.

We cannot become Germany and shoot at the wall.

It can be interpreted as an act of war.

Terrible comparison....East Germany's wall was to keep people from leaving more than it was to keep people out. Big Difference....

section 4 article 4
The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion

Hussein, Pelosi, and Napolitano must have had their fingers crossed behind their backs when they swore to uphold the Constitution.

What's the penalty for that? And why hasn't it been investigated and those guilty not been charged?

Ya' know, if you and I committed a Felony, I really don't think we'd get far.

Yup. All those troops are going to do is spot and report drug and arms runners.

They won't be spotting or reporting terrorists. Mexican or otherwise.
