I've watched my copies several times. It gives a good introduction to M theory and attempts to mesh modern physics with philosophy and gives an introduction into advanced concepts such as alternate universes and time travel. I found the "extras" well worth watching.

During the editing process, some of the statements made in the film were taken somewhat out of context, which annoyed the interviewees. However, it did make for a better show. If you companion the film with Kaku's books such as "Parallel Worlds" and/or Lisa Randall's work, you get a nice dose of modern physics.

If you want to dig a little deeper, look up Edward Whitten, the generally accepted greatest modern physicist. In 1995 he rewrote the book on modern physics by simplifying and combining the five string theories into the modern M theory that is now being proven to be mathematically viable. Physically provable will have to wait for better technology but experiments are already being attempted by Lisa Randall and others at the LHC.

The Roadrunner was cooler, 'cuz he had that special paint that let him paint those neat 'movable holes' on the ground and on the side of the mountain - it was so neat watchin' the Coyote slam into 'em 'cuz he din't know how to move 'em ... Porky never had cool things like that, and foghorn Leghorn was just interested in gittin' his strut on ... Y' notice that the Roadrunner NEVER bought any of Acme's stuff - just the Coyote shopped there ... duh ...

I have a copy in my "Need to Watch" folder. I think that I may just skip ahead to that if I get the time today. *smile*

Well worth watching indeed. The intervierwee's were one of the best parts i thought...all informative and entertaining What of JZ Knight, ....do you believe she is channeling Ramtha?

Personally, no. But I believe there is more to this universe than we understand by a long shot and what we perceive as "other worldly" experiences have a possibility of being some form of interaction between parallel universes. You just never know. Anyone who absolutely claims parallel universes cannot interact certainly does not understand the basics of M theory.

There may have been many people over the ages who could in some way pierce the veil of time and space and perceive information hidden to most, but most people who claim to be able to do this are just scammers.

I do believe the idea of parallel universe's, or at least want to...somehow makes sense to me. I enjoy Fred Alan Wolf... I agree with Betsy, I want to put "poppin the quiff" on a t-shirt. Because I'm more of an emotional thinker..the scientific look at what is going on in the brain/mind fascinates me. Although I can not word it as you and others do...I get it and continue to keep reading, keep listening, keep being open to new things. Marlee Matlin does a great job also, I think.
Also the reminder of Dr. Emoto's work.... a chill runs up my back to see it again. "If our thoughts can do that to water, imagine what they can do to us". Love that quote!

Loved it so much I ran out and bought a copy for my brother. Tried to get the ex to watch it with me, (when we were still together), but he just couldn't grasp any of the possibilities. He called it nonsense and left to go fishin'. I sure miss goin' fishin'

Yeah, I've bought it for several, and all just didn't really get why I wanted them to have it...in the last month I've had one I got it for tell me.."I thank you and curse you at the same time I can't stop watching."
