Topic: Bush Gets The Blame ... AGAIN ... | |
---|---|
Let's see ... 'The ONE' has been in office now for, what, twenty months or so ... ? Yet NOTHING that happens on his watch is his responsibility ... it's all stuff he 'inherited' from that evil Bush ... Need proof ... ? Here's Nancy Pelossini blaming the last administration for 'lack of oversight' - like they haven't had time to exercise their own version of 'oversight' in the past 20 months ... Maybe when 'The ONE' is finally stripped of his right to exercise power he can accept responsibility - just like the big boys do ... naaaaaaah ... that's crazy talk ...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/blogs/beltway-confidential/pelosi-blames-bush-administration-for-bp-oil-spill-95175304.html Pelosi blames Bush administration for BP oil spill. By: Joel S. Gehrke Jr. | 05/29/10 7:38 AM EDT Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., blamed the Bush administration for any lack of oversight leading up to the Gulf oil spill. The Obama administration, on the other hand, is blameless. From Talk Radio News Service: “Many of the people appointed in the Bush administration are still burrowed in the agencies that are supposed to oversee the [oil] industry,” Pelosi said when asked if Democrats could have prevented or mitigated the crisis by keeping a closer watch on the industry. Added the Speaker, “the cozy relationships between the Bush administration’s agency leadership and the industry is clear … I’ve heard no complaints from my members about the way the president has handled it,” Pelosi stated. On Friday, the Washington Examiner requested that Speaker Pelosi’s office release the list of Bush appointees to whom she was referring. We’ll let you know when we hear back. |
I am a staunch republican, but even I wanted GW out of power. However; I think that the time has passed where you need to blame the prior administration, and take some of the blame and put it on the current administration's shoulders. They knew the GW machine was broken, instead of trying to fix things, they find it easier to point fingers.
Considering I have heard that it was even before Bush that the problem started, Bush could have stopped the cycle that was happening and didn't.
There is no way we can blame Obama for anything yet. Everything we are dealing with is a repercussion from a past president. The recession and joblessness was before Obama. Recessions take years to resolve. Obama has had one. If we do not fall into a depression under Obama's watch, he will have done good. |
That still don't relieve Hussein of his duty to insist on them not using substandard equipment.
At the same time, the dems in congress could have defunded the war long ago during the Bush regime and implemented monetary and spending reform and we could have averted most of the crisis. But, they played politics just like the GOP. ![]() |
yeah,, seems like the most OBVIOUS place to assign responsibility is with the drilling rig that was capping the well when it blew,, or with those who were responsible for securing the well,,,
I fail to see how that type of human error could fall on the shoulders of any politicians... |
I won't even touch the war par because that doesn't even deserve the time. |
I heard Obama is creating a new CZAR postion. The position report to the President only and this persons whole job is to figure out how everything will be blamed on President Bush, including the quake in Haiti.
