kleisto- its not an attack deserving such a reaction when it can be solved in other ways if there is no sign of imediate danger

ladylid- i dont deny that for a second, that person is on the hell no list for life afterward, but it is still a compliment in a sense. they wouldnt do it if they saw 0 attraction/fugly.

Um, honey, not it's not. It's has nothing to do with him finding the azz attractive...absolutely nothing!

When a man or woman grabs someone else' butt and it is unwanted contact, it is Sexual Harassment not a compliment. If you were to do this in your place of employment you would be fired not comp't a drink.

Maybe it wasn't just a light grab, maybe he did it more than once or groped very hard and telling him to get lost didn't work. As I said before, she should have gotten a bouncer, but since she didn't all of them should have been thrown out. Or the police should have been called.

tromette it is not to be taken like that. that is simply my view, as i said i agree that it means that guy is a pig and a poor person to even look at, im just saying its not worthy of physical damage if theres no sign of worsening problems in the scenario. it is not an invitation to do it. it is simply a way to turn a awkward/bad moment good if it has no point to continue on. if he continued long enough, then yes your all right over she should clock him, but alas we have no details over the duration of the incident or how it happend. but alas its all debate, and we all have our views, no reason to be angry when no harm is meant. i appologize for the lack of clarification

We don't have all the details...we have one guys version..and he seems to have enjoyed the whole thing WAY too much. Like I posted awhile ago..people in positions of power and enjoy it so much are scary people indeed. Obviously azz grabbing is not a problem with him either...or he wouldn't have taken the risk to let the guy stay.

Plus this is a bar ..drunk people, and that changes things. Situations generally escalate quickly when alcohol is involved.

I'm a club promoter in Los Angeles and usually spend 3 to 4 nights a week in my club. Usually it's a cool scene, but sometimes there are trouble makers. We have bouncers that control things , but they can't see everything and sometimes I end up dealing with something myself.
This one night I noticed this guy with a bloody nose and this chick who had punched him was cursing him. I went over to find out what happened and the chick was saying this guy was groping the girl she was with and so on.

I said, "Look, we,ve got a strict rule on this shi*. You fight, you're out. Your'e welcome to come back in the future, but tonight you're out."

The chick exploded when she heard this. "I guess it's ok for a women to be assaulted in this club. I guess we should stand around and do nothing. "

"What you're supposed to do is get a bouncer ...", I said but she interrupted me in mid sentence. "My friend was getting her *** grabbed. I'm a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kown Do. I use restraint, but I won't allow anyone to attack my friends."

"Wait a minute", I said, "if you used restraint, why is this guy standing here with a broken nose?" This really pissed her off. "You asshol*", she said, "I told you 3 fuc*ing times he assaulted my friend". At this point both of these xxxxxes were up in my face cursing and calling me names.

"Alright ladies", I said, "it's time to go."
"I want to talk to your boss", she responded.
"I am the boss around here. I'm in charge and you're leaving."
"You better call up your boss because if you touch me I'll break you nose too."

This was a mistake. I don't like being threatened. First I turned to the guy with a bloody nose. "Go tell them that I sent you over for a free drink. You get to stay. How do you 2 like them apples?" He walked off with a smile on his face and the TKD chick was furious.

"He stays we stay mother fu*ke*!" With that I grabbed her by the arm to escort her out and she punched me in the mouth hard enough to bust my lip up. Now I don't train martial arts as much as I use too, but I take my steroids and hit the weights hard core. I tackled this chick like a linebacker and I thought about pounding her out like I would a man, but I was a gentleman and didn't throw a punch. Instead I put a vicious head lock and started choking hard. "Want to play with men b*tch?" I whispered in her ear. "No matter how hard you train in Tae Kwon Do you will never be able to live in my world."

By this time the bouncers had arrived and I let them have the chick. When she got her wind back and the bouncers picked her up, she started cursing me again. I just grinned at her because we both knew she had learned a lesson. There are some men a karate chick can mess with and there are some they can't.

ya should have thrown them all out though, he had no right to touch her AND she had no right to beat him,, gender shouldnt even be an issue

If he started the mess as has been said, then why doesn't she have a right to beat him? He was the one touching someone who didn't want to be touched.

I am SO angry. You're blowing this off to be nothing, and this is something I deal with EVERY DAY. Just because a woman works in a bar, or goes out to a bar, does NOT mean that it's okay to touch her. It's not okay to touch them at all, let alone in an inappropriate way. I don't care if he's an ****ole, or she's a big bit*ch. It's NOT okay. I'm sorry if your self esteem is so low that you're starving for any type of attention from any type of person, but it is absolutely and completely not acceptable for a man to grope a woman, or another man's as* when it's not consensual. It is completely worthy of physical damage. One of the only good reasons for physical violence, as a matter of fact.

Just had a thought as to the proof of what happened or didn't. Instead of making a knee jerk reaction that she was causing trouble, why not ask those who were in the area if she was telling the truth? They'd have seen what happened and would be able to back up or refute her claims. That would easily take care of who did what right there.

well, number one because he didnt grapple HER, it would be different if the person violated had fought back

and number two, because a behind grappling doesnt constitute danger,, at the most its an annoyance

now if he had hit, slapped, or had her in a helpless position, it MIGHT then be justifiable for her friend to stick her big nose in and 'defend' her physically,, but that wasnt the case

it comparable to someone purposely bumping into you at a bar and your FRIEND then pummeling them,,,,both are wrong

the first action was in no way justified but did not warrant the second action

I'm not sure that's quite the same, although one could easily claim self defense in such a case as well. If her friend is being groped, that's flat out out of line, and the guy doing it deserved what he has coming for acting that way.

Typical bar procedure is calling the police if someone is struck. Both parties can give their stories to the police. Usually both parties are booted from the premise and 911 is called. This douche, let the dude who was disrespectful stay AND bought him a drink. I don't even know how he has the job that he does.

I get that, but I still think she had every right to attack the guy that was violating their space, and in particular her friends at that.
