shades The Dutch are going to win it. Nuff said. shades

i watched their game, they were ok... but don't think they're on the same level as Germany and Brazil.... Uruguya was very strong today.

I see we don´t impress......laugh laugh laugh

noway

you are very impressive

How can I not be impressed by Maradona's team, however they didn't do well in the qualifier.... so will just wait and see.

I was leaning towards "impressed" by the history of the team in general. The glory of the name itself......tongue2 bigsmile

But of course as all, we have our bad moments......grumble

Yeah you have. Keep out of the Falkland Islands or we'll have to kick your arse again!

You HOOLIGANS!

the real reason the brits don´t return the Malvinas.....

Having 5 fingers forever up yours is worth a crappy little island to me......bigsmile

Enjoy the seals......laugh laugh laugh

Lube it up enough and i might enjoy it!

And it would be a crappy island, given its location!

It´s no wonder you walk funny........laugh laugh huh

I was interested in the world cup at first, and I might still download matches later, but I'm not watching anymore of it live at least. I'm boycotting it, and this is why. Look at how these people are living out there, and how greedy and controlling FIFA has been!

I can't in good conscience support this given all that.

Didn´t watch any of this but every country has its issues of poverty, corruption etc. Its not gonna keep me from watching the World Cup. drinker

And don't you understand that this is sports not politics? NO ONE on this thread wants to read this crap. Save it for a more appropriate forum.

Slovenia WINS 2-2 with help from the US (2 goals) and the referee (1 goal)

Ridiculous!! surprised

Referee definitely cost the US the game on a terrible awful call.

Considering football, (Ooops Soccer to you guys)
is not considered a major sport stateside, it seems that there are plenty of people posting in this thread.
To many, it is not even a sport there and isn't all that well supported.
However, there will always be the fors and against lobbies fighting their side.
I, as most folk here know am English and live in Germany.
My neighbour wasn't impressed when Germany went a goal down.
When I said to him,
"It isn't the winning, it's the taking part that counts."
I'm fully expecting him and the other neighbours to turn up at work tomorrow wearing black arm bands. LMFAO.

Oh. By the way.........

COME ON ENGLAND!!!!bigsmile drinker
