vistaprint.com yes they will have to pay for the site but they advertise for you. Get set up with paypal and they can handle all the transactions so that all they would have to worry about is shipping out the items.

they dont want to pay for the site that the whole thing.with them being on a limited income they can only spend so much

if they don't pay for the site then they would have to pay for the advertising. Either way you are going to end up paying. the site I listed is the most cost effective.

ebay might be good for that, but I've never used it, so take it for what it's worth.

If they don't want to pay anything then your options are basically (a) pay it yourself and don't tell them, (b) remind them of their parsimony next time they complain about you or anyone younger than them, as old people WILL do, or (c) put up ads on Craigslist or eBay.

You'll have to look it up on Google, but it's for selling your homemade crafts. I haven't really checked it out, just heard about it here and there. They should open a PayPal account if they want to sell online as well. Here's the etsy site http://www.etsy.com/ |

You could set up a site, install a shopping cart, and integrate it with PayPal.
There's also free services that will give you a pre-made store, all you'd have to do is upload pics and descriptions, pretty much. I did know of one site like that, but I foget what it was. If you do a search I'm sure you could find some. Craigslist and Ebay are good also, you can combine them with an online store of your own. You can make up business cards with the site address, and other contact info. and give them out to people. You can can a free set of business cards online, or pick up a package of blank business cards and print your own. |

There's all kinds of WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editors out there that will let you build a site pretty easyily without needing to know much code. A lot of web hosts even have online editors that will let you set up a site pretty easily without needing to know any code. Here's a site I suggest they go to get started. http://www.w3schools.com/ It has all kinds of free tutorials to help them get started. |

What about Blogs? Just have to figure out a way to get the money. And I think there are some that will allow you to set up paypal. Just thought I would throw that out there

What about Blogs? Just have to figure out a way to get the money. And I think there are some that will allow you to set up paypal. Just thought I would throw that out there Depending on the host it won't do much. Blogs are dependent on page ranking, and if you don't have a blog with a ton of links to it then it simply won't show up on Google. It is an option, but there is a lot of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) that goes into it just to get it seen. Sounds like bee just wants a casual site, which in the long-run it would just be better to set up a sales site through a 3rd-party so they can actually sell something. |
