Piranha 3D in a few weeks. Total cheesehappy

Lloyd, Dreyfuss, Rhames, and Shue all in a B-grade horror flick. I can't wait. Although the original was awesome for it's time. I think Aja is pretty decent. Haute tension was a treat and the The Hills Have Eyes remake was one of the few remakes I liked:)

It can't be any worse than the 90's Piranha remake with William Katt. And if it is bad, I just hope it's the good kind of bad like Piranha 2: The Spawning.

Chihuanhas 2011

A school/pack of vicious, cross-bred Chihuahua and Piranha are unleashed upon a pristine Mtn Lake and quickly consume summer campers before a team of misfits, led by the lake's ranger, evade and destroy the evil little critters.

It's being filmed out here at Mount Hood, Oregon, USA!!

If it turns out to be great cheesy entertainment, why not? Besides, I doubt it cost very much money. Probably the same as the catering cost for a Hollywood movie:tongue:

Last night I watched a horror film, it was funny. I was scared all my life to sit down and watch a horror film, until about two months ago when I watched that NY based movie in the future when a cancer-curing agent decimates humankind and turns people into animals. Don't ask for titles, I can't remember titles, it's one of the curses of my existence.

Anyhow, at that point I realized that horror movies are not meant to scare, they are meant to make people laugh.

I jump when a waitress sneaks up behind me and asks me if everything is okay. I scream when a car honks near me as I walk down the street. If a child howls, I cover my head. When in a mall, and the loudspeaking system says for Inspector Mary to go to Booth seventeen, I raise my hands in defense.

I am not kidding. My nerves are shot, I get startled really easily.

So I had been staying away from horror movies since I saw "Exorcist" in the seventies and then "Alien" soon after. I walked out of "Alien" I was so scared, and the scene was not even five minutes or ten minutes from the start, when the guy from the spaceship walks around in the heavy rain on the planet with the SOS signals coming from it.

But I watched now two horror movies.

I also watched "Constantine" which was also funny, nice, kind, a feel-good movie; nice romantic horror show.

But this movie last night just made me laugh. People died in a variety of awful demises, and the whole thing was more funny than scary.

Then this guy saying the piranhuanas is nice and cheezey.

Yeah, I can live with that. A man can live on cheese alone.

BAHAHAHAHA! Oh, my neighbor's poor Shih Tzu will be having nightmares about this for years to come! I read that this is kinda like some unholy cross between a Taco Bell commercial and Species, the movie is here to remind you what freaky genetic hybrids are all about. Crossing killer fish with annoying yappy dogs!

I hope to see some romantic interludes in the movie, a nice, artistic sexual romantic relief (no pun intended, though it might be the real case with a lot of viewers), in which the scientists are cross-breeding the chihuahuas with the pirannhas. You know, actually doing te actual breeding like farmers. That must be hot.

I already said in another thread I like oral. Or watching it when a pirannha female goes down on a chihuahua male. (You can't expect these animals to do it without foreplay. That would be inhumane, and each shoot that uses animals has a representative from the ASPCA supervising the proceedings, to make sure no animal maltreatment goes on.) The yelps of ecstasy. The gag reflex making the female pirannha upchuck.

Mm-mm.

Yeah, great cheese like Poultrygeist, or Killer Klowns From Outer Space, or Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers, or Basket Case, or an HG Lewis film....
