Eileen and I have put our hearts on the line. It could be me, but I think thats more of a risk than money, cars, houses, or jobs. In the beginning, both of us were afraid, but as time has passed, both of us know what we have. It truly does feel like winning the lottery, and I tell her all the time how blessed I am. Aw.. I love to hear success stories! You 2 are very lucky to have a meet each other and have each other by your side.

Try paying with that in Stop&Shop or tell that to the IRS or the electric when they send the bills. Obviously most people here are biased. If you got internet and posting away, paying for the mobile service and so on, must be holding onto a job. Wait until you loose it. The problem is, that those who lost it already, they can't come here and tell you how it is, since many most likely given up on dating, since it's not No1 priority anymore, or perhaps they don't have the money to pay for Internet in the first place, because they are struggling to pay their rent. But as usual, if you don't hear about it, it must have never happened, it doesn't exist. Well I don't agree with this though. I've been out of work for 19 mos and am still surviving. I still have internet access yada yada, because I've thought ahead, used innovative ways to get thru this ridiculous economic situation, and stayed above water because of it. Most of us out of work actually put internet access at the top of our priority list because that is the #1 way we look for work. In the corporate world anyway. And I still date too. You don't need that much $$ to have fun, and in fact sometimes it's more fun when you don't and have to be creative.

LDR's can be very expensive. More expensive even than plastic surgery. The traveling can be a chore too. So my advice is, go get yourself a facelift and find a local girl instead!

If I found the right person? Well I wouldn't think twice about soaking this place in gas and tossing a match over my shoulder as I left. I can stand outside Home Depot just like everyone else if I have too. Great risks can bring even greater rewards, and with the right person standing next to me, I'd be happy anywhere.

But as usual, if you don't hear about it, it must have never happened, it doesn't exist. I have been out of work since last Aug due to an injury and haven't gotten paid since Nov. I am paying for the least amount of things I can afford to, and to me internet and mobile service keep me in touch with my doctors and with people I love so they will be paid first. So, I don't have to hear about it, it happened...and I live with it. |
