If I did not love him.
More than life.
It would be a dealbreaker.

Amen...

I don't go into it half-hearted
or full make belive notions about the other...
I wanna see every thing you got
warts and all...
So that when I choose to love,
it's a forever kinda' thing.

And if it ain't there...
then it ain't there.

remember that you are looking at a profile for the first time...i wouldn't think that you would be madly in love with someone you have not met.

You are right.
I was projecting :-)

I find what is in a profile less
telling than, say, the way it is written.
I mean, if there are LOL's all over,
I start thinking, who laughs at what
they themselves say?

Or if I get that icicle running up my
neck because the profile is so negative,
or the list of what they want expands
mind-blowingly, I tune out. This is
usually not as bad as the list of what
they do not want.
The mention of any other relationship is
a no-no.

Those are all dealbreakers for me.
Like walking off a cliff.

Assuming that you know nothing about a person other than what their profile states and shows...what three things make you move on to the next profile. be genuine and try to explain why.

1. Anybody who has kids and/or wants kids. Not in my plans.

2. Anybody who drinks. Again, not in my plans.

3. Profiles with lots of misspelled words, bad grammar and punctuation, or profiles that are full of cliches or are basically empty. Not someone I want to deal with.

Deal breakers for me are if they come across as immature or shallow. Also if they don't write enough, to me that means that they lack substance. I'm all for someone coming right out and saying exactly what they want and don't want. I do. I just think that if it's not known right away then it leads to wasted time in pursuing something that wouldn't work out anyway. It's counter productive IMO. Knowing where people stand is important. Also if someone types like they text, that is very annoying and implies lack of intelligence and/or maturity. Oh, and #1 is no profile picture, or a picture of something random like the sky, a mountain, a goat, toaster... you know. LOL

I actually used a pic of a goat for awhile, but it was intended to be satirical.

i'd have to say...

penciled on eyebrows...it doesn't matter how good looking they are or how great of a body they have...i just hate penciled on eyebrows

having said that i also hate chickees that cake on the makeup...the emo thing doesn't bother me too much, but it is the face that looks like it will fall off when they sweat that bothers me...

I've seen that happen to people on dates. It's hilarious, there date suddenly wonders if someone opened the Ark of the Covenant nearby.
