Can a woman do what a man does and still be a lady? semantically, yes if by woman , you mean mature female human, and by man you mean mature male human culturally, no a woman cannot burp, fart, curse, or sleep around and still be seen by most as a 'lady' however, a man who does those things is usually not considered a 'gentleman' either I think 'lady' and 'gentleman' qualify a level of class that is equal between the genders (imho) Actually the definition of "lady" varies by culture............... |

Msharmony took the words right out of my fingers. We all pretty much have the same capabilities physically, but culturally there are certain expectations. HA!
