I need help in finding a certain Carebear for my grandaughter.

Somehow she had gotten out of the home of her parents friends, and while someone was mowing the lawn, she got too close and the mower cut off her big toe on her left foot. The doctors were unable to re-attach the toe.

I found out about this last night. She has been wanting a Carebear that lights up, and I have tried Walmart and Toys R Us with no luck, she is almost 4 yrs old, and I really want to help her get through this rough time.

Can anybody help me find one...PLEASE!!!

Forgive me for asking Dave, but how could she get close enough to lose her toe to a lawnmower without the operator aving seen her? I understand about kids, and I amn ot trying to lay blame on her or the friends of the family, but the operator of that lawn mower shuld have seen her.
I will keep her in my prayers, and I hope you have luck in finding that lite up carebear for her.

Daniel, I wish I knew how it all happened, but I am still pretty much in the fog about it all, but rest assured, my daughter and her hubby will hear about it from me. They should know better than to let her get away like that. I always made sure that my daughters were inside with their mother and they were never allowed out while I mowed.

well, like snuggles sadi kids can be quick and sometimes get out the door without being seen. My mian concern is how the operator of that mower could nt see a toddler in the area and not stop the mower. Cause NO child can move THAT fast.

but like I said, kids will be kids ad they ca be fast sometimes. I know I have had to chase my sons more than once cause they got outside, although it has never happened so that I did not see it happen. I just did not expect him to open the door and run lol.

i got an email from dave last night.. he got the bear ordered and should have it for his granddaughter in a few days..

a misunderstanding.. mistakes happen.. but no it wasnt a stuffed animals toe it was hers thank god it was just a toe though .. could have been much worse.
