There are a lot of profiles on your site in/near my area that havent been on here in at least or, over a month.I feel like if youve met someone,or no longer want to use this site at least delete your profile or something. That way people dont waste thier time filtering through no-existant profiles.for the lack of a better term. Respectfully Steve

Thanks for your input, Steve. You can stop looking when you reach the first account which has been offline too long for your tastes. Once you encounter such an account in a Search, all accounts past it have generally been offline longer.

I hear ya, Steve. There are few people remotely active from my area and I'm not too sure there's any at all active in the forums near me. I agree, mostly. If they're no longer interested in this site they should delete their account. However, everybody has their reasons for 'falling off of the Earth'. Who knows, maybe they couldn't find anybody, got uninterested and just need an email from somebody interested to bring them back to life?

In my opinion, a month is not necessarily that long. People may be signed up for other sites, including those not related to dating. I know that I don't check every site unless I get an email. If you find someone interesting, choose from one of the many options provided by the site.

Someone has to make the first move. Do you wait until someone calls you to offer you a job, or do you go out looking and asking? It's the same for dating. We all get rejected, but like the lottery says, you gotta play to win.
