I laid down to go to sleep one night at my friends home. I had stayed there many times in the past and never had an odd experience. This particular night though, as I was almost asleep, something knocked the wind out of me. It literally felt as if I had been punched in the abdomen.

My eyes were open when this happened, the lights were on and I still sat up to look around the room. It was so bizarre. Nobody was in the house but me at that time. I eventually calmed down and forced myself to drift off.

My friend wakes me up in the morning and tells me, "Breakfast is ready. Oh, I nearly forgot. Orion said he's sorry for hurting you. He tripped last night when he was watching you."

I looked at her as if she had lost her mind. She explained that a ghost stays in the house and his name is, Orion. He tried to apologize to me but when I couldn't hear him, he went to my friend and told her that he was sorry for tripping and running into me.

Um, yeah, that wasn't freaky at all. So, I guess ghosts can be 'clumsy'. What did he trip on, an air current? There wasn't anything on that side of the bed to trip on. But then, I don't know what it's like to be a ghost so perhaps there's more to it than the little bit of knowledge I have on the subject. (lol)

There's a big house a couple blocks from mine that I've been told is the most haunted house in Annapolis (as in there are several ghosts living there). The lady on the tour said people have heard what they call the "crying girl" when going by that house. The girl was apparently locked in a lower room and left to die. They found her nail marks in the door many, many years later. We checked out the house on Saturday night but didn't see anything.. haha.

Wow ! I'm glad someone posted something about what I do as a career. lol I was like whoa.. Ghost for a topic on a dating place? Anyways, I am the founder / lead paranormal investigator of my company for 14 years here in Michigan. Yes ghosts are real, evp's are real, orbs captured on film is real, cold spots are real, things moving, k-II hits and flashlight manipulation is all indeed real. Take it from a vetern ghost investigator. Not what you see in tv is faked. Although 2 movies I can think of that just came out are based on some <----- real accounts, and i stress the word some.. Not all.

look at my blog if you wish to see what I do and for that matter my profile here. It is indeed interesting traveling across michigan and seeing things happen and talking to individuals fearing and seeking real answers to their claims. No, i'm not here to endorse myself or plug myself to all ends, but interested on how someone posted something about ghosts. lol

mcmspi.com/blog is my business blog. read up on it if you wish.

Peace ~

Not around where I live now that I know of...but back in Utah there was a school that doubled as a field hospital for Hill Air Force Base during WWII. Hill Field Elementary has a nurse that shows up around midnight usually on the weekend inside the nurse's office (you would have had to gone to school there but it is right inside the front entrance).

Still remember the first time me and my friend saw that ghost, we were skateboarding out front of the school at about 1 in the morning...I don't think me or him have ever bolted so fast in our life.

Years ago, a friend of mine and her family woke up in the middle of the night to banging noises coming from the kitchen. They went down the hall to the kitchen and saw the cupboards and fridge being opened and slammed shut.

Then while they stood there watching lines began appearing in the popcorn on the ceiling (you know that soft popcorn texture they used to spray on ceilings).
They said it looked as if someone were running around the room and hallway crazily with a stick drawing lines in the ceiling. They ran out and had a priest come over the next day.
Those lines stayed in the ceiling for years.

I feel I have many personal ghost around me at all times. Found many things moved from where they belong. Felt presence of others, when I'm alone feeling a little down. Would that be ghost, or emotions of lost?

Unfinished business, or its a place they felt the most attached to when living. Or if its a place that has had a lot of tragedy.

You ever notice how little kids always seem to see them?

I think kids are more open to them?

RowBaby's photo

Yup, or maybe they reveal themselves to kids because kids are less likely to be credible.

I think it is that children are more open and accepting.

Was this a kid?
The kids I'm talking about described something sounding like an angel as well. A couple were even male warrior type angels.
