When I was real young I wanted to study dinosaurs, fossils, and prehistoric plant life.
Then when I was a pre-teen, I wanted to be a world famous artist & ROCKSTAR! Then when I was in high school I planned on becoming an art teacher. Then I took 3 years of art school and decided "there is no money in teaching esp not in art...esp with republicans in office" So I switched from Art major/psych minor, to Psych phd& Art Masters to specialize in art therapy and emphasis in alternative medicine So now I finally believe I found my career calling. Helping people through art. & I agree with Fallin...being a mom is the greastest accomplishment of mine thus far

I'm still looking for my calling. Not sure of what God wants me to do.But by far being a mom had been the hardest, funniest,& most rewarding so far.I had my daughter when I was only 17 & so we have grown together a lot.I think that dealing with people may have somwthing to do with it,cause I can have a lot of sympathy, compassion, empathy, etc, most times. but it can also overwhelm me other peoples emotions.

I wanted to be a mom to 6 kids like my mom was. THEN I wanted to be a marine biologist and loved to catch frogs and bugs with my brothers THEN I wanted to have a lemonade company that sold only to kids THEN I wanted to be a chemist so I ended up being a biochemistry/molecular biology major and now I work for the *gasp* good ole US of A government

Growing up I always wanted to be a rock star, cause my whole family is full of musicians. I can kinda halfway play guitar as I only know a few chords lol. But I think my calling is more to do with animals than music. I just haven't cut down the field of what I want to be. I can't be a vet cause I hate blood, I can't be an animal "cop" cause I'd beat down every offender out there. Maybe I could be a researcher and go into the field and just watch animals and make notes about them?

When I was REALLY little, I wanted to be a beagle. That didn't work out.
Later on, I wanted to be an astronaut, a paleontologist, Batman, a psychiatrist, a baseball player, and a musician. Roughly in that order. I either wound up getting bored with things, or discovering I really wasn't all that good at them. And I had always been able to write a little bit, so I thought maybe I would work on that for awhile and see what happened. I don't know if it's exactly a "calling," but when your talents are limited, you go with what you've got....
