Witnessing for Christ is a blessing. You’ll have to just get out there and do it. When I first started witnessing I felt like I was forgetting something. When I left the house of which I was visiting I forgot to tell them about our Lord Jesus Christ.
I would generally ask them to visit our church. Now that I have done it for a while I learned a few things. For example when you visit the first thing you need to say is what church you’re from so they can identify you. Then tell them your name. It should be the first thing out of your mouth. Sometime in the conversation you need to ask if they know Jesus Christ as their Savior. You need to make sure that the main thing you are there for is to tell of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus will take care of the rest. Visit everyone if the street you’re on has one of your church members go by for a pick me up and keep on visiting. MATTHEW 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Before you know it you will have visited your whole town. Keep on visiting folks I have been through my town more than once. You can find the ability to go farther into the world and tell of Christ. Usually if I’m a ways from my church I can suggest sister churches or a church that serves Jesus Christ. A lot of people thought I was Jehovah witness come to give them the watchtower. I’ve had some doors slammed in my face. I’ve had everything from people yelling at me or cursing even after they found out that I was telling Christ’s message. Most are excepting when you come to their door. Each visit is different but the main thing you need to do is identify your Church and yourself before you say anything. Always pray that your visitation will go the way God wants it and that God will lead you. Most of my visits have been very short but there are some you can go in and tell of our Lord’s salvation. MARK 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Now I’m not saying that it will be safe what I am saying is you might be the one to tell him or her of Christ. Visit those houses you didn’t get a good reception at you might have caught them at the wrong time. LUKE 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. I had a particular guy give me a hard time the first time I visited but he found out I was just trying tell of our Lord and I was invited in. We sat down and had a good visit. I have not seen him since but I know that when I left he knew of the opportunity that Christ was giving him. JOHN 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Your better off to visit in pairs some people are afraid and rightfully so to open the door to a stranger. For some weird reason with two strangers they feel more comfortable. You will come upon a house sometime were there’s just a women there. So next time on those visits if a woman is not with you on visitation you will be better to visit that particular residence with a woman. After you have done visitation for a while you’ll get to know if you need to take a women with you for some houses. Remember who your there for and you will be just fine. Our lord Jesus Christ will give you the words to say. You will find it to be a blessing to tell the world of the Christ who came to die for our Sin. Now that doesn’t mean I’m leaving you women out. It just means if you’re going to visit someone your safer to go with someone else. ACTS 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. The Lord did not say it would be easy. There are some that have the gift of teaching the bible or being a greeter or many other jobs in the church but we are all supposed to tell the world of the salvation only Christ can give. It is alright to invite them to church or to some function you’re church is having. What I am saying is that Christ is the main thing you need to go into this world with. ROMANS 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. |

So true.
![]() REV. C. H. Spurgeon at the Music Hall, Royal Surrey Gardens. What a message! John 12:32. I mean unbelief can be a powerful thing; It can take you straignt to hell. But just try to imagine the power of belief; It can take you straight to heaven. Just even if only the size the size of a grain of mustard seed the Bible says. http://www.spurgeon.org/sermons/0139.htm ![]() |

One thing my step grandfather did was say grace in a public restaurant. At first it would make me feel uncomfortable but then there are these verses.
St. Matthew 10.33 But he that shall deny me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven. St. Mark 8.38 For he that shall be ashamed of me and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation: the Son of man also will be ashamed of him, when he shall come in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. St. Luke 9.26 For he that shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him the Son of man shall be ashamed, when he shall come in his majesty and that of his Father and of the holy angels. St. Luke 12.9 But he that shall deny me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. Just out of the clear blue sky grandpa would say Hallelujah or praise God out loud. It was amazing how others in the restaurant would go quiet and you could see people bowing their heads. ![]() |
