I say Merry Christmas. I don't say this to offend, but because its what America celebrates. For those "Diversity" minded individuals remember this, Diversity killed 13 at Ft. Hood.

I've said Happy Holidays for years to be pc... A couple of years ago I decided that it is Christmas and everyone else gets their holiday by name so I'm going to call mine by name.. I will say Happy Holidays during the season when it's in between and I want to cover them all if I won't be talking to that person again...

how about people can say whatever they want.

lest of course, they threaten to kill or harm someone.

it is first the zeal to protect individual feelings within any society that stole freedom from all civilized peoples in history, and brought all free societies to a closed society and police state.

their own demise.

how would such create any different now.

I have to agree, anytime something is preceded with Happy, or merry, its pretty much a done deal that its intent is positive,,,

people should wish each other greetings of whatever sort comes from their heart,,

ah...

thats cool, but i don't agree with the notion that the words happy and merry make positive a done deal...

thats absurd.

and how can you agree with me, and at the same time say what you think people SHOULD DO...

that goes against people say what they want.

you turned it into some religious, NONE LOGICAL, imagination of what COME FROM THEIR HEART...

which leaves ALL TO DEFINE WHAT COMES FROM THE "HEART"...

please...

so, for you to tie your notions of "good" unto my words, is truly to imput MANY PLACES OF POSSIBLE BIAS...

which mine were designed specifically to ERASE, or REDUCE THAT POSSIBILITY.

tomato tomahto

people SHOULD say whats from their heart

that people CAN say what they want is pretty much a no brainer

unless they are mute for some reason

symbolically, speaking from the heart IS saying what you WANT to say

really?

speaking from the heart denotes words of POSITIVE.

as you REFERENCED IT TO.

words from the heart said and recognized as "loving words", as again, your reference to "happy and merry" as positive words.

such believed is what does not allow free expression to be embraced, but rather ONLY WHAT SELF DEEMS AS POSITIVE.

words are words.

heart.

mind.

positive.

negative.

the point of SPEAKING WHAT PEOPLE WANT, is to ERASE THE NATURAL TENDENCY OF HUMANS TO HATE OVER WORDS THEY DEEM "NEGATIVE"...

but, your words create that same thing, all dolled up as some "good positive advice"...

when in actuality, taken and accepted, would leave more of the same that has been, words spoken are good based upon FEELINGS OF POSITIVE AND FEELINGS OF NEGATIVE, which is what creates a society to pass laws that ends their own freedom.

so whatever...

yes, that is the context in which I meant it

for sake of clarity I will add, people should wish each other greetings of whatever sort comes from the heart ( IF they WISH to wish greetings at all and if not than they shouldnt)

I'm not sure why you have to clarify anything... I knew what you meant and agree with you... If it comes from your heart that means YOU WANT to say it/do it... I don't really think it needs further clarification...
