As human beings we seek security in many aspects like physically, mentally and in this case financially. Maybe its human instinct to want financial security, therefore fall in 'love' with the richest bloke/lady.

Tricky question. On one hand you need food and shelter. On the other you may need new rims on your mercedes. My ex was like the chick from Gone with Wind.........smokin

If your rich the love gets more fake, and if your poor the love gets more real

Most people are poor and most arguments are about money. Well that or you were making out with her sister at the bowling alley last Sat. night. Baby I swear I didn't know it was your sister.........smokin

I meant the love upon an individual. A rich man will probably have a bunch of girls 'loving' him, he'll perceive it as love yet it isn't. Therefore the poor man will find it easier to receive genuine love because there is no attraction o f money

I love it when a more-successful woman allows me to pick up the check. Don't mind if she does either. We connect or we don't.

Sadly this is true, we all have some conditions, i would like to think that I love unconditionally, but if my man started to drink I would be gone in a sec. So i guess it's not totally unconditional:cry:  Money, I guess that it is good to have money, but liking to have money is not wrong it makes life much easier, It is loveing money more than everything else that is the problem, i wouldnt mind if I had money and somebody liked that I had it. I would mind if i had money and they liked it more than me.

I think it's a matter of appearances and your not talking about love I think your talking about attraction,
For example if your poor you wont be out in pulic buying nice things flaunting things around and walking with confidence so you have o find new things about yourself to show to a woman to make you appear attractive

a guy whos rich can buy nice things which everyone likes of course and your wearing nice clothes walking around confident b/c your successful and woman are drawn to that.

Another thing is, If your rich and you want a woman to like you for reasons other than your money, then you must quit using your money to pick up women don't flatter her with gifts and take her out to fabulous places right off the bat space it out make them wait

financial success displays higher status. High status creates attraction. Love requires attraction. So in a sense, money can affect your attraction. But of course the person has to have more than money going for him. Its like a beautiful car that drives like crap. You may drive it around for a bit, but eventually you cant stand driving it.

Some have been in the past but it doesn't detract from them as a person.
