I respond to almost anything or everything...I don't mind nudges or anything else silly. Unless you're someone trolling for sex, then I will not respond, as I have put specifically in my profile I'm not into FWB or NSA. After that....anything is fair game. If you're a prick or insincere I'll figure it out pretty quickly.

I don't know guys, I've been quite fond of the "kick them in the butt" nudge. That's how I usually respond to getting a nudge on here

I generally don't respond to nudges from strangers. If they have something to say, say it, make it interesting, and check the spelling. Plus, experience has taught me that nudges from strangers are most likely scammers. If I'm in a scammer-squashing mood, I may play along until I have enough evidence to turn them in and get their account nuked.

Same with IMs. If it's a stranger, it's almost always a scammer. I will generally go along with those because it only takes a minute or two for me to confirm that they're scamming.

Nudges and IMs from people I've communicated with before are fine and I have no issues with those.

As far as e-mails, go, I will pretty much write anyone back who writes to me. Most of the e-mails I get are pretty disappointing, content-wise, though; it's clear that they either have nothing to say (I get a lot of e-mails that consist of "Hi" or "How are you?") or they don't know how to say it.

If someone wants to get my attention, they should send me something that has some intellectual content to it.

I don't usually respond to nudges from people I don't know from the forums. I will almost always respond to a legit email unless it is sexual in nature or unreadable.
