Does anyone know what it means if you set a picture to private, can only the people on your friends list see the pictures? Or who is the picture only visible to? Thanks for the help!

OH, I think it works as your described it. Now usually people here wanting to hide something usually post a different picture like an Avatar of themselves instead of their real picture.

You still have to dodge scammers. Heck, I could put on my profile I am 35 and people would believe it. If I posted a picture of me from ten years ago I could say I was 25 and everyone save a hand full of people would believe it. Now another thing you may want to look at is the "Stealth" setting where you can be ON line and no one would know outside of people you chose to know.

I am trying to send the URL of some pictures that I have set to private. I am only able to view them in my Edit mode. Both pics have the same URL when I do a cut and paste in the message I am trying to send.

Also, I am not able to view them when I look at my profile - only when I am in the Edit mode can I see them.

Is this right?

Want2B5ft, almost everything you posted is right. However, no two photos will have the same URL. So, you are probably getting the URLs incorrectly. I would maximize the private photo by clicking on it and then right click to copy its URL.
