we don't want to be sliding oregon anywhere....scared

Actually the beach is a great place for a first date, it's relaxing, rejuvinating and energizing. It's a great place to loosen up and get to know someone.
If the weather is to narly there are tons of places that we can go sit, chat, eat, have a drink and still be near the water.
It's a great atmosphere and yes, it can be very romantic and seductive.

I loved the beaches around San Diego in '77. I could only imagine the majesty and serenity of those in Oregon.

I live right downtown in Annapolis, so there's always somewhere interesting to walk and see the city. It's right on the bay as well, which will be fun during the warmer weather. And there are lots of bars/pubs around. So, a good first date around here may be a drink or two at a bar and wandering around the city. Gives us plenty of time to get to know each other.

I can vouch for this.. I've been there twice and had sooo much fun, lots of places to eat and drink and the scenery is beautiful!

It really is a great place. I can't wait until it warms up a bit so I'm able to spend more time outside.

Honestly, if she's someone I'm already familiar with but never dated, I like going to an amusement park. Plenty of time to talk, have fun, and laugh. If things aren't working out, you can always leave (or rejoin whatever friends came with you). If you get along, but aren't a good fit, then at least you both can have a good time.

Of course, it helps that there are three amusement parks within driving distance too: Quassy, Lake Compounce, and Six Flags.

This came from someone else's thread who didn't like bars and clubs on first dates.

What kinds of places do you like going on first dates?

I'm a female as well but I figured I would still reply! I have always thought Dave N Busters would be a fun first date. I good place to laugh together, chill and eat, and have some fun. I don't like to feel like I'm on the spot the entire date, so anything easygoing is great to me!

Weoman love to talk like to meet for dinner not to crowded and sizable tip to the server can get a.more private and romantic setting a share activity such as music sports arts. Concluding with private setting to express each others enjoyed and appreciation of the time spent and never jump in the sack no matter how turned on you are I'm not that easy.If she is then one night it and move on
