I've got a 2004 GS500 sport/touring. I love to ride so much I can be on the thing for 10 hours a day. In the past 3 months I put almost 3000km's (approx 1865 miles) on it! And thats local driving around. When I go places on the bike I like to take the long way. Bro it all depends on what you are confortable with.

Those bikes look soooo uncomfortable.. I started riding motorcycles when I was 10 (dad raced bikes and cars) on a small harley.. Rode all thru high school then gave it up because I was having kids..Now, 30 some yrs later here I am on a Harley sportster 1200 and having a great time..As I am going on age 70, I don't plan on doing any long distance trips, if I do it will be on the back of someone elses big bike...My friends think I'm crazy, I think their jealous!!

My bikes over the years
1) Honda twin-star 250 2) Nighthawk 750 3) R1 and now my TL1000R try getting off that in 6inch heels
