Honesty, humor, etc. are all important but i think that being open is one of the most at first. Hey women, do you REALLY think that this is all it's going to take to attract the man you want? I think its as tricky as finding the right man I think men are as capable and intelligent as women and probably appreciate the same respect and security in a relationship that women do its finding someone independent enough not to be clingy, but not so independent as to constantly remind him he is not 'needed' its finding someone who cares enough to take care of themself and their responsibilities without requiring him to be a musclehead or millionaire they probably are MOSTLY into the physical attributes and thats why they have problems finding the 'right' girl,. because so many women focus so INTENTLY on their looks that they develop little else that can maintain a relationship once they find it just like women are MOSTLY into 'romantic' attributes(behaviors) and they have problems find the 'right' guy, because so many guys develop their 'game'(romantic skills) without developing the personal character that can maintain a relationship once they find it

OK I'm all about injecting a little honesty into the equation - I'm looking for someone who can't keep his hands off me and who is always at the ready and who really does like to spend as much of our free time together as possible drama free

Still, with my friends who have lost their relationships, and with my own marriage, it was the demons that popped up that were never anticipated in the beginning. It could be that when you are young and she has the "romance" thing nailed down, and he has his game well-tuned, they think that things will never change. You don't even have to be young for those hidden landmines to getcha.
