I have studied and came to notice that in some homes a married man always do the domestic jobs while his wife just sat around doing nothing. For example; the man will be the first to got up in morning,he will prepare their children for school(that's if they have any) ,prepare breakfast and then call his wife to come down and take her break fast.He will be the one to bring back their children from school. The man just keep on doing the whole domestic jobs alone while his wife is allright. In some cases if you ask him why are you leaving like this? He would say that it's because of the love he has for his wife.In this case their love is a blind one, because a woman that loves her husband won't let him do any domestic job. Why? Because in any family, the duties are shared differently to every individual, since a family is made up of a man,his wife, and their children. The man will be the one to provide financially to the family, while the wife will help in doing most of the domestic jobs, and the children will do others(that's if they are grown ups).In a situation whereby these arrangements are disarranged, then the family will have no love,if they say they have they are lying."WHAT DO YOU THINK?."

noway WHAT?????

There are men out there who REALLY do this???

Where are they?? laugh

Just kidding

I think that a man should not have to do this especially if he is

the sole provider for the family. A woman who would do this is

emasculating her man and should be the one searching on this site

and not myself. huh laugh

All joking aside, there should be shared responsibilities in every

household with the parents as well as the children. Thats a strong

family unit.

Just my opinion.

Well, if you ask me, it's not right for EITHER the man or the women to have to do it all! I'm all about teamwork myself! Or perhaps if children aren't involved, whoever's schedule is less demanding could do a little more around the house. You get the point... But yes, in American I guess it is pretty typical for ONE person to do a majority of the work. It's not unusual for there to be "stay at home Dad's" now.

I would say that more often it is the other way around. maybe his wife works, or maybe he's giving her a well earned break for awhile- who knows, but men seldomn do the the bulk of the household chores - taking the kids to school and making breakfast is a very small percentage of what constitutes household chores. They r HIS kids too - no reason why he shouldn't take them to school. And I'd be careful about making any assumptions about how someone else lives -

your answer could be anything from - she was up til 1 or 2 a.m. trying to balance the checkbook (that he screwed uplaugh ) or sadly, I've also seen this happen- in cases where she did everything for so long with little input from him (he thought being a paycheck was enough) that she just quit...frustrated in that case- it's probably near the end...

In some homes the men handle the domestic side and the women work and pay the bills

Any family that the man do the domestic jobs, while the woman pays the bills is a wrong family. For a woman to allow her husband to do domestic jobs it means that she has no love and respect for him, because a wife is surposed to love and respect her husband under any condition he's into.If she fillr that she has money to the extent that she can't do domestic jobs, then let her hire a house help,i think it's a little bit allright. If she insist that her husband should do the domestic jobs, then she is the husband while he is the wife. This marriege is a real "FAKE ONE"

There are too many different solutions to this; you can’t give one definitive answer. To say, “men work and provide” while “women make kids and do chores” is kind of old school. It completely depends on the two adults in the relationship, work, children, cultural backgrounds, and so on. It seems to me that the exact details don’t matter as much as the agreement between the two parties. If a couple talks it over, make choices on who does what; then it all should be good. But hey, I’m divorced; I probably don’t know much of anythingohwelllaugh.

think of what you are saying

for a wife to 'allow', this already assumes the wife has authority to decide for the man,, and what kind of man is that?

in a RIGHT family, the members work as a unit , in support of each other,, whatever that means, so long as the end result is a healthy and happy UNIT(family)

so if the wife has the education or skills to provide for the family and carries that responsibility, the husband should be GLAD to handle the responsibilities in the home

as was previously posted, any partner willing to sit by while the other handles ALL the responsibilities has a questionable idea of what love is

and in this age, where BOTH men and women are working outside the home, than it is no insult to either for them to share , as well, the work INSIDE the home

well that just is not the way it is here (the west)in many situations

actually often women who "marry" end up earning as much or more than her partner AND doing most of the housework

where is that thread asking why Ima not married?laugh
