What is stopping me from being God?

For one thing, I am far from omnipotent...I did not create the earth and its inhabitants...I don't care what everyone on earth is doing with their life.

All the other little 'gods'.

we are like a holographic grain of dust.

Each particle reflects the image of god when light is shined upon it.

Yet not one particle of itself is God.

Major Irony

1. You must define what you mean by "God" before you can ask who or what God is.

2. If you have already defined what you mean by "God" then your question is moot.

I agree, in principle, but wouldn't that be fractals instead of holographs?

If you remove a small piece of a hologram you can still shine light upon it and see the 'image' of the whole.

One cannot do this with a fractual... It just becomes a 'fractured' number.

A drop of water cannot be the ocean, but its all still water.

I am not sure of getting your point correctly but I will try to interpret to my best.
Yes a drop of water can not be ocean but at the same time ocean won't come to the existance without these drops of water.
We may not have all qualities(whatever it may be) of God but it doesn't mean that no body can develop those qualities.smokin

O.K I am neither an expert nor have vast knowledge in this field to define God. But some common beliefs of God as I hear are:
1. God is almighty.God is pure soul. No injustice is done by God. etc
2. God has created this universe; movement of heavenly bodies and other natural phenomena are controlled by God.smokin

We are co-creators of an expanding universe. We live in a thought created universe and because we are thinking centers, we are co-creators. We are the creators and are part of source.

We are designed to be gods.
This world is a training ground for the shape of things to come.
The choice is yours,
remain here and be totally useless and forever bogged down in ignorant quagmire ... or reach for your destiny out there among the stars.
There is a universe out there, full of wonder ...
just waiting for those who have the vision and belief to reach for it.
I don't expect you to understand this,
however the evidence exists and it has existed for millinea.
