Ok I know tha I am probably going to get my head bitten off for this, but is his death a good thing.

Isnt it just going to bring more retaliation and hurt..

Does anyone really think that if this has happened that the people who believe d in him and followed him will just lay down and say Ok you have won..

I dont know, Australia is a long way away and I am probably oblivious to most things that happen.

But to me it seems like everyone, us included is losing a lot of boys over there already, and now people will be out for revenge..

Sorry just my opinion..

I dont know if there will be revenge, as he is now a martyr for those who followed him and those he asked to likewise die for the cause...but whether it will slow down activity is another question

Oh, there will be revenge. AQ and TTP have already released threats and all of our Embassies are on "High Alert".

Obama needs to have the backbone to now go after the leader of Al Qaeda since 2008, Al-Zawahiri.

We killed their figurehead and if we kill their leader and brains, it will cripple the orginization. Also if we can get Mohammad Omar, leader of the Taliban, the Taliban and Al Qaeda would crumble.

How convenient that he dies, before getting caught at all. Hmmmm.

wouldnt it be brutal to catch him and THEN kill him?
when there is exchange of gunfire, sometimes people get killed instead of 'caught',,,look at all the 'criminals' in the us who are victims of justified police shootings,,,,

It would. laugh. Saying that, he's better off dead anyway, with the type of reputation HE has.

He used a woman as a human shield, he was a COWARD till the end.

Mine also Josie...and I have sat this morning, since dawn, with a single mum around our age, whose boy is in the hills of Afganistan...she is so sick with anxiety...she just wants all our boys home...NOW.

She knows what is coming next...she can feel it in her bones...and she is terrified.

I know Jess,
My daughters man is in the Army and heaps of their friends are there, we have already lost a couple from here lately.
I cant celebrate with everyone, to me It will just bring more pain,

My 11 year old asked me last night to cancel our plans for a holiday to america at Christmas to change it so we just stay here and drive, He doesnt want to get on a plane and go anywhere overseas.. And that is an 11 year old.

Bummer I want to go but I am the same, there will be trouble now, heaps of it.

If i know, what i know about the government, then i'm not that shocked that they cause wars. huh

This. They benefit the most from war, both finanically and politically. As such they are the ones that push for it, we're just the ones being used and manipulated.

K. Thanx genius.

The sad thing is, a lot of people don't realize this. It's so simple, but yet many cannot see it or worse reject it outright when faced with it.

Without a doubt Al-Qaida is less without some of its leaders. There
will be further attempts at terrorist attacks but they will be less
effective. A cell was just discovered in Germany a week ago or so....

The weakening of their organizations can provide an opportunity for
those who seek change to express themselves and topple the theocrats
or tyrants. Take Tunisia and Egypt for example.

It is good for everyone to see such hateful ignorant bigoted terrorists confronted.

There will be less religious warfare...which is a very good thing.

Well that's a horse of another color altogether. Drugs such as these though are big business to be sure, hence why they are pushed as much as they are, whether they actually help or not.

Did i read correctly that they buried his body at sea within 12 hours to comply with some islamic law?

If so, i think this is very suspicious. I need more proof that people just sayin he is dead.

Exactly! Thats the first thing I thought when I heard was wheres the body and proof, I bet its not going to be available. And surprise surprise how conveniently they susposedly buried his body at sea to comply with islamic law. If you get a chance read the book American Conspiracies buy Jesse Ventura.

Not, again.

As we write on here there are thousands of terrorist organizations spawning over religious/political dissension all over the world. Al queda may die off some but there will never be an end to it as long as religion/politics exist.
