what's the most significant movie that you've brought a date to? (it
could be a positive or negative experience)

what happened?

Hrmm i cant think of one. I do think some movies arent good for a first
date though. Like pollitical, war movies or 9/11 theme pictures.

supposedly julia roberts and sandra bullock movies were supposed to be
good date movies.

i think there's always a fine balance between a chick flick and what the
guy's interested in.

is there really no movie, you'd suggest, ruewen?

I went out on a date and this was a long time ago...he took me to see
Ghost. Now ok...all you ladies know how sad that movie was...I walked
out of there with big red eyes and a swollen face...not a pretty sight!
Never take a date to see a love story that is going to make her
cry..geesh!

The notebook was great. One of the few love stories I really got into.

I prefer horror for date movies. Nothing like her jumping into your
arms every few minutes. The exwife was just as big as a horror buff as I
was so it did not work with her but I had plenty of great dates from
horror movies. The excitement has a few other perks as well.

see, I like the horror thing. The last type of movie I want to take a
first or second date on is some cheesy romance thing. That is so vulgar
at my age. Perhaps when I am like 40 something that is a good first
date movie.

But right now I am all about the zombie movies. Shoot, that is a good
tester anyways; if a girl is not down with horror she can get the hell
out. Unless she has a nice rack or something, then she can get the hell
out after a month.

I took my wife to see Miami Vice and we had a great time.
Probably one of the best things we did all summer. Saw the
movie and then ate dinner in downtown DC.

Um.....Jeepers Creepers it was romantic when I got scared and Dean held
me.

Odd talking about a date with an ex but I haven't seen many movies with
my current guy.
