If I didn't have motorcycle knees I would love to have my butt buzzed by riding around again!

I grew up with all my boy cousins.
We all had dirt bikes.
They were afraid, at first to let
me take one by myself.
I popped a wheelie and it was on.

Vrooooooooooooooooooooooooooom..

I finished my biking in my misspent youth.

And my knees and back remind me of it everyday.

When I lived in Michigan I loved to ride.

Now that I live in the Phoenix metro area in Arizona,

I don't want to become a statistic. It's the drivers

That scare me out here, so I won't ride out here.

I used to ride a 1970 750 Trumpet (British Triumph). Did not chug like a Harley but still had a deep rumble to it.

It was chopped like Dennis Hopper in "Easy Rider."
The last time I nearly got killed it was so close I got combat shakes. That was the third time so I gave up riding. Careless car and truck drivers. grumble

I have never once had the desire to get on a motorcycle.

I think I did damage and layed my bike down about a dozen times. Wonderful drivers then took off so they didn't pay for it. grumble

I got a pretty bad pipe burn on my leg from a motorcycle ride back in the 90's.

i've got plenty of road rash, a few broken bones, and almost lost a limb, but it's just too wonderful not to ride

I learned to ride on scooters back in the sixties. I've never been down on a bike (except dirt bikes) but I sure had a few tumbles on my scooter ohwell
