Im not sure 'riots' are much more than self defeatist.

Protests and boycotts though are well serving tactics which sometimes bring about change.

The protest has been under way for eleven days now. Still hardly a peep from the Corporate media, but things are happening. The protest is slowly growing in a fitting way, by a coelescence of various aggrieved parties. A buddy of mine lives in NY and went by and said there few hundred people there. It will grow, as the news spreads through sites like this the media will have no choice but to cover it. And when they see people supporting it they will have to show it in a positive light.
