This is my first time on a dating site and the first guy who actually lived near me (according to his profile) and asked to message me ended up wanting me to receive money into my account and send it somewhere else for him. Some men must think all women are stupid. Does this happen to others.

Howdy folks. Anytime you get a scammer like that here, report them. The higher ups on here banish them right quick. They do not know unless you report them.

He had already de activated his account so I couldn't report him. He's obviously done this before.

You can still report his username,
for future reference.
In private, to a Moderator.

And I did read some where in here that some of theses are coming from foreign country, like Nigera and Africa etc. Cant believe theses people think that you would actually send them money. I assume he will de deactivated soon. And why would someone ask you that when it should be coming from family, and thatis what I said. And other things that really threw him off. DO a reverse phone number and name, and then go to see if he is on face book, and ask for another picture.Usually you wont see one another picture.. Be carefull out there ladys.I played his bluff and by the second day he was already asking for money. The stories are so sick with there crys and moans. Im just about ready to go off this site, this has been the 3rd time that some one wanted to scam me..And do not ever give out your phone number.

All I can say is yes it has happened a few times to. Me also.. So I sent her a card and told her that there was $1000 in there when she got it she said there was a card but no money and lol she got mad hahaha... I told her had it been opened because I had torn it open than tapped it shut to look like it had been tampered with..get this she said her name was Gifty Nanoa..from Gianna Africa.. And she would send me real sweet emails but the red flag was no one could type that fast so I knew she had copy and pasted them..and she would tell me she was in love with me.... We never talked in person, how can someone fall in love with someone they have never met? And a world away at that... I could go on but I think you get the idea...look for. The red flags with them there are everywhere....any more I play them like a hot tuna... Fish on.....LOL I get a good laugh out of how many have tried.. There's fishing and there is catching... That's why its not called catching...

Well since I joined this I haven't. Met any genuine woman here I have met around 20 women and all were scammer. Right after 2-3 mails they started asking for money for flight tickets, few were asking money coz they robbed by someone at street, some r got accident and they don't have money to pay hospital bills, few has family members in hospital in very critical condition, etc plenty of reasons but one thing is common they all from west Africa hahahahahaha they jackasss think everyone is fool
