I hope u agree,we are here for discussion just by coincidence.  This place reminds me of a Twilight Zone episode. Where "coincidentally" a group of strangers get thrown into a situation together and they have to work together to deal with the situation. They are all very different and, in some ways, very suspicious of each other. But, they are all there to learn from each other and receive some kind of life changing lesson. YES!! Everything that happens is for a reason...generally we don't buy into that, specially when it is unpleasant. We find ourselves doing 'something' and are not sure why..years later or possibly sooner we have that aha moment you spoke of and then understand why we were doing said thing. But then, you already know this aye Ruth.  Life is like the twilight zone in many ways.. I don;t look back and say Oh yes THAT'S why I did that - I knew when I did it why I did it....except for accidents like putting the butter dish in the sock drawer but I still love stuff like the Twilight Zone even tho I'm not in sync with the whole idea of a greater "destiny" |

YES!! Everything that happens is for a reason...generally we don't buy into that, specially when it is unpleasant. We live by the choices that we make for ourselves. Fortune has nothing to do with it. Fortunately choices are there my friend!! By the way "Good Luck" in your choices. You have now entered the "Twilight" Zone. & u too are there now...  (JK)

Life deals us all,,our cards....its how weplay those cards that reflect how well we play in life's game..
Do we stand,,draw, or fold? Bet, pass, raise or bluff? I was dealt a bad hand, A drunk as a dad,,and abused,I drew three cards,,(my KIDS) They gave me my reasons to perform and be. I could have taken my road much further than I have,,yet By putting more of me in life's game of chance. but,,I have concluded to remain in check, since my kids have grown and I divorced. yet the prospects of doing some betting and raising,,alway cross my thoughts to try again... I think every poet is gifted by destiny & it isn't something that one can have with study & hard work,further it's fortune how you live with words....I have hard stories of many poets who struggled hard & never got up to the mark they deserved,many got fame only after the end of their life.... |

I don't think one has to be a greatly intelligent being to own it. Its sad that so many miss the minds of others still living. THEN,,find those words and thoughts,after they have died. But we live in such a vast amounts of writings and thoughts. That some very GREAT MINDS of BEAUTY,,pass before we can see their eyes, and embrace their views. My friend,,I am NO Poet...plain simple truth.. I am, a man who lives to dream and love. THAT comes to this place,through the words of my heart. Its IN THAT, that YOU see me a poet.. IN PERSON WITH YOU,,You would call me,,Friend...

I think every poet is gifted by destiny & it isn't something that one can have with study & hard work,further it's fortune how you live with words....I have hard stories of many poets who struggled hard & never got up to the mark they deserved,many got fame only after the end of their life.... Well I guess,poetry has nothing to do with intelligence. Rather it's a passion. We had a famous poet named "Bahinabai Chaudhari" who was an illiterate poor villager & farmer.Even after her death she is standing at first place in our literature just because of a co incidence / fortune.One day famous writer Mr.P.K.Atre heard her songs coincidentally & that incidence turned her life from a common women to a famous poet. Today she lives in our minds through her poems even though she is dead & I believe there must be few more who too are good poet but not yet famous,that's destiny. |

Many people thinks of destiny & fortune only if something either goes wrong or goes unexpectedly right way. Don't you ever think, all that we plan,desire,do,decide & everything that happens to us is because of destiny? If it's true, then aren't we all bound by fortune? I believe everything I do creates a path in my life.....I choose the path therefore choose my destiny. |

It was the compassion that you Mr Atre held within his heart,,that showed this World, "Bahinabai Chaudhari"... And its THAT compassion ,I wish the whole World had within them to know and feel for others. If anyone has a strong feeling inside them to act on,,always pushing them to be MORE,,,then,,,THAT is their fate, inching its way outwards in them to acheive...its called many things,,,but THEY all make us respond to its driven course to stand.. I don't believe anyone is BORN to be KING,,or QUEEN,,in ANY form of life,,,for its what gets made within them growing,,that makes them WORTHY of any title to own...Fortune is MADE not given to the ones who prove their abilities to perform and make the changes needed to create through them,,,their MORE! Just my thoughts here.... |

Words are very powerful. They can create or destroy. As a person thinks in his or her heart that's the kind of person they are. I don't believe things happen by chance. So our destiny and fortune also can be determined by our words and thought process. |

Maybe fortune is bound by each individual making it flux and bow in a mystical force making it bounce from energy to energy changing the influx and motivation of its force

I do my best to do my best at whatever I am doing and it seems like Karma treats me very kindly. I don't think about what I am going to say....I just say it. I don't plan on what to do....I just do it. It has yielded for me thus far, a happy, fulfilling, loving life. :) I do that too Krupa. My X used to get so mad at me and Yell! "You never think things through". Little did he know that I did think things through; but just went out on a limb now and then and trusted in myself

To my opinion,saying that "fate is for losers" is a thanklessness.
It means ONLY that,if we are winning then we are taking sole credit of it & if we are losing we are blaming on fate. |

I don't think a coincidence's are accidental. People cross paths for a reason....there is a message and we need to be aware and open to receive it. |
