Some take friendship very serious. My closest friends, female or male, are the kind of people who would do anything for, and always be there for each other.
Example: I work on a female friends motorcycle. I do not charge her for my labor. She makes me an occasional meal, buys me drinks, listens to my crap....etc.....

The only reason a man needs a woman is either for sex or to have his children. He can always hire a maid and housekeeper if he has money, and he can even buy sex.

For men, his power is money. They have always been able to earn more than women and even still do today usually. Except for sex, or for procreation, men don't really have any use for women.
