Sheriff Baboo should RESIGN or be FIRED.

He is in violation of policy with his behavior and conduct and has brought discredit to the Pinal County Sheriff Department.

He has also been untruthful which makes him unfit for law enforcement.

Very unprofessional conduct....you all need to read the entire article in the New Times.

http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/2012-02-16/news/paul-babeu-s-mexican-ex-lover-says-sheriff-s-attorney-threatened-him-with-deportation/2/

Wowser!
We are in 100% agreement on this.
Will wonders never cease.

There still isn't a lot of proof then someone's word against someone else's.

Did you read the entire article?

I am really shocked that someone at his level, the top Law Enforcement Officer in Pinal County, AZ, would have such POOR JUDGEMENT as to post inappropriate photos of himself on the internet.

Picture worth a thousand words.

He should RESIGN or be TERMINATED.

Just wait and see what happens.....

Why? This guy to my knowledge never spoke out about homosexuality, so why chastize him? Why does the left that say they support homosexuality use it so much as an insult? Maybe it's because it is what they actually think about it.

Hmm, I dunno, let me think... The guy worked for Mitt Romney, who is against gay marriage. How is that NOT funny? Conservatives almost unanimously do not support gay rights (log cabin rep aside), or anything which they perceive to be a threat to their imaginary "God-fearing Christian nation". I am not party to the left or right, but I do find it waaaaaay easier to laugh at right-wingers. They prey on the prejudices of blue collar, gun-toting, bible-pounding middle American simpletons to squeeze a few extra votes out, and make themselves out to be the idiot bigot party in the process.

I am an Ultra Concervative Republican and I support gay marriage. Also Multiple Choice Mitt could be the only Republican this guy could support. Mitt is basically a Democrat running as a Republican and has been leanient and supportive of the gay rights people for most of his life.

This guy couldn't have picked Santorum or Gingrich to endorse and only a nut job would endorse Paul.

I only find it funny if it's a polititian who was a hot head about homosexuality and how aweful those people are blah, blah, blah then they come out is funny. But this guy trying to live his life, going on dating websites who cares? If he chooses to be gay that is his choice and we shouldn't pick at the guy for it.

The only think we should pick at is the illegal hypocracy and the potential criminal behavior, if proven.

For harboring an alleged illegal immigrant while publicly taking an anti illegal immigration stance, sure. That's hypocritical and shameful.

We all know that California is a right wing, blue collar, gun toting, bible pounding state so I suppose that was why they voted against gay marriage..

Yeah.... That has to be it..

Minus the .0000000001% aka exceptions the majority of republican christian conservatives are against gay marriage. Also note that California has had a few republican christian conservatives as governors.Remember San Francisco isn't the only city that votes.
Theres 3 running for the GOP Romney,Santorum and Newt.

Although Newt is .....nevermind.

There is a large segment of the Republican party that are NOT religious. I happen to be one of them.

I could care less about social issues.

Whether gays can marry has no impact on my life whatsoever.

The idea that only Republicans oppose gay marriage is ludicrous.

California has 44% of its voters registered as Democrats 30% registered as Republicans..

Conservatives almost unanimously do not support gay rights

This was the part of the post I was replying to..

Its quite a conundrum.

I am not religious, but I find myself defending the rights of those that are simply because freedom of religion is part of the bill of rights.

I see any erosion of those rights in one respect opening the door to the erosion of other rights we are guaranteed.

Even though I don't agree with radical theocratic agendas I feel those people have the right to voice their opinions and concerns as freely as those that don't agree with them.

I agree with this also but if it wasn't for seculars and the womens libs it would be law to have to go to church on Sundays.Don't think they don't have motives, they do...remember "In God We Trust" that was done by the federal government.Showing favortism to a religious belief is not rights it's a s s kissing the majority of voters. Then again times are changing.

I find it hilarious that a month ago the Jesus by-god right loved this guy, now because he is gay he is a POS. Republicans are so incredibly stupid in their hypocrisy it pains me to look at them as the lesser of two evils. Liberals don't like him because he did his job and even though he is gay they still don't because the left has been told to think its wrong to enforce law upon a certain group for any reason. He's asked the Gila County sheriffs dept. and the Gila County attorney's office to do a full investigation so we'll see what comes of that.

I don't see Republican's attacking him because he's gay, I see them going after the fact that he was harboring an illegal, boinking an illegal and blackmailing an illegal especially when he is supposed to have a tough stance on them.
