OK so here is a thought. Do the majority of you find this site.... better for dating? or do you find yourself drawn more to the forums?. I didnt want to post in dating because its not really a discussion about that but more of a opinionated response and your thoughts on this site and others like it in general. Just trying to shake things up a bit!!

I love the forums...BUT then I only ever came here for the forums and friends anyway...Not for dating...BUT I did end up meeting someone special...Go figure!!!!!!

When I first joined the site, I met (as penpals) some women through search. I still have some of those penpals, though I stopped looking at search months ago.
These days, I meet so many cool people (as penpals) in the forums, I don't bother with search. |

Seriously, I didnt even join this site for dating. If I find someone, great. But I will say that there do not seem to be nearly enough people from my area.

I seem to get emails from guys who live too far away for any kind of real relationship, so most of the time I just enjoy myself on the forums.

yeah that seems to be the biggest issue. I really dont have much trouble meeting people in the public so I have not met someone in real life that I talked to online first. Just wondering if anyone ever has and how did it go? Does it make it different than traditional dating? do you feel like it has taken some of the pressure off?
