A few I really enjoyed...
Dawn of the Dead (remake) - I think the Cash tune really set it off. Friday The 13th (remake) - One of the longest opening scenes I've seen, but great. Enter The Void - the opening credits were also pretty cool. Kill Bill Vol 1 & Pulp Fiction (agreed) Conan The Barbarian (original version) - Just too good. One of my all time favorite films. Period. Antichrist - I was watching the opening scene with my ex on netflix & my computer froze right on Defoe's nutsack. Priceless. Probably the most unforgettable opening scene I have witnessed so far. Haha. |

THE A-TEAM (2010)- How it introduces all four men to us, and how they all came together...man...it's so well set up. Especially once Murdoch is introduced. Really sets the tone for the movie which is very good. A great action film.
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE III: Talk about a way to start a film. Ethan Hunt is tied to a chair, with an electric charge in his head, his wife tied to another chair (gagged) and the bad guy holding a gun to her head threatening to shoot her in front of him. That is intense! Have to agree with Casino Royale and the remake of Friday The 13th. |
