This is a no-brainer in my case. Nothing worse than dating someone who never has opinions on anything, or whose only responses are normally "Yeah", "Ummmmmm", "Idk". Stuff like THAT. It's as if some have no brain at all. I'd rather be able to hold a conversation with the person. I really agree with this. The person who is so smart that you feel like you are always running to keep up with what they are trying to talk about is kind of a grind too. Especially if they like to laud it over you. |

How high is intelligence on your list of qualities? Let's say you meet a thoughtful, caring person but they don't understand what you consider simple words and phrases. When you are looking for a teamplayer.... does intelligence matter? As much as I'd like to think I'd be drawn to a bimbo, intelligence does play a role for me. Doesn't have to be a rocket scientist or astrophysicist. If she's pretty, exceptions can be made though, don't get me wrong haha. As long as she's pretty, she can be a little dumb, huh? It's a sliding scale kind of thing.  A slight lack of brains can be offset a bit if she's a looker. Goes the other way too. I could never be with someone I considered dumb though |

What I have found is that I have been a caretaker of a special needs child, and it appears the needy approach me. There is a huge difference in someone with a disabilty and someone who is truly needy though. I do like someone to stimulate my thinking, and I'm not looking for a rocket scientist either.

Political stance is second as I cannot respect a man who believes poor/disadvantaged/victimized/disaster victims/etc... people deserve their lot or that women are second hand citizens. |
