i guess i'm different from others on here... if it was my kid that was shot, i would want the prick that did it in jail... and if he didn't go to jail, then i probably would for killing them...

whatever, he killed a 17 year old boy and he is not in jail...forget black or white, lib or conserv, a kid is dead... and all you think about is black or white? Race doesn't matter to me. The point I'm making is that you don't have all of the evidence and you are claiming that Zimmerman is guilty. The biggest peice of evidence presented by the "Justice for Trayvon" people is that Zimmerman is white. You keep throwing up Trayvon's age of 17, as if that has some relevance. What matters is all of the evidence, not the little bit that you have latched onto for whatever reason. |

If Zimmerman killed Trayvon in self-defense, then any punishment or trial is simply vengeance and we as a society shouldn't condone that. |

If Zimmerman killed Trayvon in self-defense, then any punishment or trial is simply vengeance and we as a society shouldn't condone that. i agree with you, but he should have been in jail, and they let him go. why do you think the black folks are pissed off? i don't blame them one bit. if they would have arrested zimmerman, then let him out on bail, this would not be such a big story. it's for the courts to decide if it was self defence or not, not anyone else... a kids life was taken, and none of us know any facts. whether zimmer mas white, pink, green, or even zebra striped, he should have been arrested. |

It's a violation of his 4th Amendment rights to arrest him without due cause. |

self defense is a defense for killing
we know the kid was unarmed and now dead, and we know who shot im we dont know if he fought to get the gun away from a threat or if he was shot by the gun for being a threat,,,but either way,,, in this case a defense that should be presented in a trial IMHO |

You guys just don't get the American legal system, do you. I'll explain it again. Until Zimmerman is formally charged with a crime, there will be no trial. Zimmerman won't be charged with a crime, unless there is enough evidence to ensure a conviction. The likelihood is that there will not be a charge and therefore no conviction. You are just going to have to live with that. |

Zimmerman won't be charged with a crime, unless there is enough evidence to ensure a conviction. The likelihood is that there will not be a charge and therefore no conviction. You are just going to have to live with that. I understand the legal system fine. Noone is claiming there will be a trial without a charge and noone knows whether there is 'enough' evidence for a conviction. Time will tell whether an arrest will be made and a trial will be decided how long did it take them to arrest Scott Peterson,,,,,?sometimes the process is longer,, but it doesnt mean enough evidence isnt there,,, |
